SNES Sram Converter v0.2
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
By The Caffeine Kid on 22/11/98
I knocked this little proggy together to strip the headers
from the sram files I had on disk from the old days of using
my Wildcard Snes Backup Unit.
I didnt fancy playing all the way from the start on the Final
Fantasy games (again), and the sram files from my Wildcard just
wouldn't work... they have a 512 byte header at the start.
WARNING: This prog will strip the first 512 bytes of ALMOST ANY
file, so don't come crying to me if you run it on command.com or
something... Absolutely anything that goes wrong during the use
of this program is NOT MY FAULT.  If you run this program you are
accepting this as law!
Won't ruin your emulator sram files though! Will only strip files
that don't divide by 1024 evenly...
Hope this file helps you Wildcard owners out and saves you from
having to restart from the beginning all those games you used to
play on your Snes.  These days it's a lot easier just to run an
emulator, rather than mess about plugging in the Snes and finding
the disks, etc. :)
** NEW IN V0.2 **
Hopefully, you now only have a 1 in a 1000 chance of messing up an
important file.  Only had to add another two lines of code - DOH! :)
I still wouldn't advise trying to strip files you shouldn't... Maybe
it's your unlucky day.
Also made the text flash in a really annoying (?) way, just for the
laugh. And because I was bored.
Enjoy...
